In 2003 I was recommended by a friend to try Crikey Hosting for the hosting of my new website. I was studying multimedia, and looking forward to starting my career in website design and development.
At first I checked out other hosting services, as you do, as well as domain registrars and found this to be the most cost effective. This, along with the fact that he is an Australian-based provider with Australian-based hosting, are the main reasons I decided to start out with him.
Three years later, and I have launched over 20 websites, all hosted through Crikey.

He is able to tailor design hosting packages to suit specific needs, and has been very knowledgeable when it comes to areas of expertise that I am lacking - he has been able to recommend and implement different options and plans for my diverse client base.
The ease of purchasing through Crikey with the options of direct deposit or credit card facilities has meant that I can have a whole website and domain name with emails and dns forwarding all finalised and live within hours (often minutes) of ordering.
Thankyou once AGAIN Lyndon for your tireless efforts in helping me to make my business what it is today. Building the site is not much use if it is not up and live on the web.

Not every one would realize that there are plenty of people that work a home business and totally rely on the internet and their web site working, and I am just one of those! I found Crikey Hosting around August 06, when I was in so much trouble with my web site and the hosting company, which was in the USA somewhere. The only way you could contact these people was by email to their customer service guys who spoke in “computer language” which I don’t understand to correct a huge issue I was having with my web site. It had actually been down for a week and I did not know.
In sheer desperation I decided to look for a server here in Australia, which sounded sensible to me, so that I could make contact with them to discuss problems I was having. I found Crikey Hosting and Lyndon James, the best find I have ever made. In a few hours Lyndon had my web page up and running again, I was just so relieved. Since then Lyndon has addressed so many problems that I was having with the workings of my web site and fixed it up so it was working 100%. This was not a web site that Lyndon had built, a friend of mine built it, so Lyndon was fixing up programs that were made, but not especially for my business. He has done a wonderful job. Every time I emailed Lyndon he answered me, straight away, I just can’t believe how committed Lyndon is to the business. Lyndon has always been so polite, patient and so knowledgeable, and very efficient. I can never thank him enough. I am a person that treats my web page as a shop front, and that is really what it is.I would personally recommend anyone that is thinking of doing a business or home business, go see Lyndon and Crikey Hosting they are the best, with wonderful rates.
